Habitat for Humanity: 2023 Women Build

Monday, July 31, 2023

The famous Habitat Women Build came to Kosciusko County! This week of building is dedicated solely to women volunteers. It is a great time for women from across the county to come together and support the women in Habitat’s homeownership program.

KBOR was proud to sponsor the 2023 Habitat for Humanity Women Build.  The event took place the week of June 19th through June 24th.  This year, two homes are being built on neighboring properties located in Claypool.  The week brings women from across the county to come together and support the Habitat’s homeownership program.  In addition to KBOR’s sponsorship, two KBOR offices put together teams who volunteered their time.  Teams from The R Group and the Julie Hall Group spent their day installing siding and windows, constructing a shed and putting up walls.  Thank you to the R Group and Julie Hall Group for representing KBOR.  Habitat plans to have the homes built and prepared for the families to move in before 2024.
