7th Annual Back-To-School Backpack Event Sponsored by Kosciusko Board of REALTORS®

Tuesday, August 25, 2020

LeAnne Francis and the Combined Community Services Staff

The Kosciusko Board of REALTORS® (KBOR) continued their annual partnership with Combined Community Services (CCS) to provide local children with Back-To-School Backpacks loaded with all their needed school supplies. KBOR was proud to partner with Sabrina Phillips, Director of Self Sufficiency, and the CCS staff for the 7th year. This year, KBOR provided filled backpacks to 28 Kosciusko County students to assure they were ready for the start of school. Due to continued concerns about CoVid19, this year’s July 23rd event was different than any other.

The P.R. Committee load up all the backpacks to take to Combined Community Services

For the safety of the children, their families and KBOR’s volunteers, the backpacks were distributed during a “drive-thru” event at the Combined Community Services building. REALTORS® and their Affiliate members are committed to helping build strong communities by giving back to the market in which they work and do business even in this very unusual school year.

Vehicles park in front of CCS with excited children eagerly waiting for their backpacks!
